Harvesters for Chervil
Chervil is an aromatic plant very similar to parsley, vaguely reminiscent of the delicate taste of aniseed. Its small leaves are light green in color and turn red in autumn. Chervil harvesting depends on its use: for alimentary purposes, it is done about 6 weeks after sowing and can be done at any time of the year; for herbal purposes, the leaves must be harvested in spring, before flowering. The most significant risk during the harvest is to ruin and disperse the small leaves.
The unique cutting system of Ortomec‘s Chervil harvesters, consisting of tilting discs, allows a clean and precise cut that fully respects the shape of the aromatic plant. Ortomec also has towable machines and self-propelled machines on tracks, all customizable according to the needs of small and large farms. Contact us to choose together the size, the cutting and harvesting systems, and the load capacity tailored to your business.
