The Ortomec solution to facilitate vegetable harvesting
Efficiency and ease of use are the hallmarks of the vegetable harvesting trolley developed by Ortomec. It’s a machine with advanced technical features that combines experience in design with a focus on functionality in the field.
The Ortomec vegetable harvesting trolley utilizes the capabilities of a unique module to easily fold in on itself. There’s no need to dismantle it, and it takes about 5 minutes and an appropriate trailer to make it operational in the field.
Being self-propelled on tracks and boasting an automatic bin handling system for both full and empty bins are the main features of this facilitator. Equipped with tracks on a fixed 210 cm track width, and thanks to its mobile arm with variable height, it can work up to 10 meters in width. This arm is designed with innovative hydraulics making it very easy to manage: once field operations are complete, it can be closed into a compact size with the self-propelled machine, keeping within the 2.50 meters of width to facilitate road transport.
